Purpose: Personalized Learning, Individualized Tutoring
Time Spent in ALEKS: 1 hour per day, 4-5 days per week
Total Time Spent Per Course: 150 hours per course
ALEKS Course: Algebra 1, Algebra 2, PreCalculus


Overall Experience:

ALEKS has done wonders for my math-loathing daughter!

What challenges did the student face in math prior to using ALEKS?

My daughter has trouble understanding explanations and working independently.

What were you looking for in an online math tool?

I wanted a program that would allow my daughter to work independently and receive clear, concise explanations.

What math progress has the student experienced since using ALEKS?

For the first time, my daughter understands how to approach and solve algebra problems.

How does the student feel about his/her progress in ALEKS?

My daughter is pleased when she completes a slice of the pie chart; it is a great sense of accomplishment. As a result, her confidence level in math has improved.
