Time Spent in ALEKS: 15-20 minutes per day, 2-3 days per week
ALEKS Course: Mathematics - LV 3 (with QuickTables), Mathematics - LV 4 (with QuickTables)


Overall Experience:

Our ALEKS experience has been good. My student enjoys viewing his progress in ALEKS; seeing his accomplishments has been a good confidence-builder.

What challenges did the student face in math prior to using ALEKS?

My student suffers from math anxiety when working with timed tests.

What were you looking for in an online math tool?

I was looking for an online math program that provided effective review and practice.

How was ALEKS implemented with other curriculum?

ALEKS is a supplement to our regular curriculum, and is used for review and enrichment when my student has a specific interest.

What math progress has the student experienced since using ALEKS?

My student is learning new concepts and is definitely gaining speed in solving problems since we began using ALEKS.

How does the student feel about his/her progress in ALEKS?

My student enjoys viewing his progress in ALEKS; seeing his accomplishments has been a good confidence-builder.
