Overall Experience:

Our experience with ALEKS has been very good. She is enjoying working one-on-one with the computer and handling math on her own.

What challenges did the student face in math prior to using ALEKS?

Grade skipping had left some holes in an already weak area.

What were you looking for in an online math tool?

Something my daughter could manage on her own that would allow her to keep her mistakes to herself until she mastered the material. I also wanted a program that was easy to use and fun.

How does the student feel about his/her progress in ALEKS?

My daughter feels very good about ALEKS. She feels better knowing she can address her challenges with fractions privately and is no longer embarrassed.
