High School Preparation for Algebra 1 focuses on critical prerequisite topics that are central for success in Algebra 1. The course does not emphasize coverage of state standards, is ideal for students 2-5 years behind their peers, and is the best course to quickly prepare these students for Algebra 1.
Foundations of High School Math is a larger course that offers a more integrated approach and review of middle school math, including topics that are not critical prerequisites for Algebra 1. This course emphasizes coverage of state standards, is ideal for students 1-2 years behind their peers, and is the best course to prepare these students for Algebra 1 and High School Geometry.
