1. Actuarial Foundation Advancing Student Achievement Grant
Description: The Advancing Student Achievement grant program is based on the belief that interaction with real-world mentors will boost student interest and achievement in math. The grant supports programs that enhance learning and create a "love of math" in each student.
Eligibility: All schools and groups willing to undertake a math mentoring program that involves local actuaries.

2. California Community Foundation Grant
Description: The Foundation provides grants to help strengthen communities in Los Angeles County. It hopes to increase K-5 study outcomes and reduce the achievement gap between population groups.
Eligibility: K-12 schools in Los Angeles County
To Apply: All organizations are required to submit a Letter of Intent to the Foundation for consideration prior to applying for a grant.
Award Amount: Varies; The average size and duration and duration of grants is $75,000 and $100,000 over a two-year period.
Deadline: Letter of Intent - April 1st, August 1st, and December 1st of each year; Grant Application - February 1st, June 1st, and October 1st of each year.
