Government Grants for Technology Integration and Curriculum Enhancement

1.  Enhancing Education Through Technology (Ed-Tech) Program

Description: The Ed-Tech program aims to improve academic achievement through the use of technology in schools.  It is designed to ensure that every student is technology-literate by the end of eighth grade, and to encourage the effective integration of technology with teacher training and curriculum development.   

Eligibility: K-12 schools 

To Apply: Districts and schools should contact their state's Ed-Tech Coordinators for details about their state's subgrant competition. For more information, contact Mr. Lovett at 202-401-0039 or StateTechGrant@ed.gov.

2.  Title IV: Community Learners for the 21st Century

Description: The CCLC program aims to create community learning centers during non-school hours to provide expanded academic enrichment opportunities for students to help them succeed on local and state academic tests.  Priority is given to children attending low-performing schools.

To Apply: Districts and schools should contact their CCLC State Coordinators for details about their state's subgrant competition.  For more information, contact the Community Learners for the 21st Century Program at 21stCCLC@ed.gov.
