Director, Advanced Customer Solutions
As Director of Advanced Customer Solutions since 2011, Biff Baker directs a team that works on special customer projects, customizations of ALEKS course products, and complex and specialized customer implementations of ALEKS. He and his team work closely with Content and Engineering to resolve critical customer issues and to manage and support large implementations of ALEKS.
Before joining ALEKS in 1999 as Director of Customer Support, Dr. Baker was a professor in the Department of Russian Literature and Languages at the University of California, Irvine. He is fluent in a number of languages, including Russian, French, German, Polish, and Spanish. Dr. Baker holds a PhD degree in Comparative Literature from Brown University and a BA degree from Hobart College.
