Algebra Readiness

Algebra Readiness provides robust coverage of the basic concepts of algebra, algebra prerequisites, and related math curriculum standards. Algebra Readiness does not provide coverage of non-algebra middle school mathematics topics, such as probability, statistics, and geometry.

Pre-Algebra

Pre-Algebra provides standards-based coverage of all of Grade 8 Math, including a robust introduction to the basic concepts of algebra and its prerequisites.

Priority Standards Course Algebra 1

Priority Standards Course Algebra 1 focuses on the most important mathematics in Algebra 1, while reducing time and intensity on topics that are less integral to the overall coherence of college- and career-ready standards.

Algebra 1A

Algebra 1A is a standards-based course that provides comprehensive coverage of the Common Core (CCSS) and State Standards. It focuses on the algebra concepts and prerequisites typically covered in the first half of an Algebra 1 course.

This course can be used as the first part of a two-semester sequence or by itself as a year-long course. It provides robust and comprehensive topic coverage and enables students to master all the math skills they need to succeed in higher level algebra.

CA Algebra 1A

High School Geometry

Integrated Mathematics I

Integrated Mathematics I focuses on algebra, linear and exponential functions, sequences, systems of equations, descriptive statistics, and introductory geometry. This course offers comprehensive, standards-based coverage, and includes reporting against the Common Core Standards.

Integrated Mathematics II

Integrated Mathematics II focuses on quadratic functions, probability, advanced geometry, and introductory trigonometry. This course offers comprehensive, standards-based coverage, and includes reporting against the Common Core Standards.

Integrated Mathematics III

Integrated Mathematics III focuses on extending algebra and functions (including radicals, rational expressions, polynomial functions, logarithmic functions, sequences and series), trigonometry, and probability. Algebra 2

High School Preparation for Algebra 1*

High School Preparation for Algebra 1 focuses on critical prerequisite topics that are central for success in Algebra. This is the best course to prepare students to advance as quickly as possible into Algebra 1 or Algebra 1A.

* If a student completes 50% or more of her pie on the Initial Assessment, we recommend moving the student immediately to an ALEKS Algebra 1 course where she will encounter a significant number of prerequisite and readiness topics that overlap with this course. Otherwise, a student should complete 50% of her pie in Learning Mode before being moved to an ALEKS Algebra 1 course.

Mastery of SAT Math

Mastery of SAT Math is designed to help students achieve mastery of the math topics on the SAT Reasoning Test. This course enables students to efficiently refresh and fill in gaps in their knowledge of the mathematics tested on the SAT. We recommend that students preparing for the test master 100% of the ALEKS course material, and complete SAT practice tests (widely available from other sources) so that they achieve fluency in the particular style and format of the SAT test questions.

Mastery of ACT Math

Mastery of ACT Math is designed to help students achieve mastery of the math topics on the ACT Mathematics Test. This course enables students to efficiently refresh and fill in gaps in their knowledge of the mathematics tested on the ACT.
