Overall Experience:

ALEKS has allowed my son to be successful in math. He progresses at his own pace, gets credit for what he already knows, and learns new material very quickly. The ALEKS format is perfect for him!

What challenges did the student face in math prior to using ALEKS?

My son is twice-exceptional. He was frustrated with the slow pace of teaching in public school, yet his learning disabilities caused him to get failing grades even though he knew the material.

What were you looking for in an online math tool?

I was looking for a tool that presented the information in a way that a visual-spatial learner could use. ALEKS provides clear reporting of what he knows, what he is learning now, and what he needs to learn to complete the course; it's icing on the cake!

What math progress has the student experienced since using ALEKS?

My son always completes a course with a 100 percent score. He won't accept anything less. He has taken charge of his own learning in math and has become very confident of his abilities.
