Overall Experience:

For one year I could not get my youngest daughter to learn her multiplication facts. We tried everything - multiplication songs, flash cards, game software, all to no avail. Finally, another homeschool family suggested we try ALEKS. After three months of using ALEKS, my daughter not only knows all of her multiplication facts, but her confidence in her math skills has returned. I could not be more pleased with what ALEKS has done for my daughter and our family. I would recommend it to any homeschool family that needs a supplemental math program to help enrich their children's math experience.

What challenges did the student face in math prior to using ALEKS?

My daughter had low confidence and an unwillingness to make progress in math.

What were you looking for in an online math tool?

I was looking for a math program that could provide supplemental practice to enrich our core study.

What math progress has the student experienced since using ALEKS?

ALEKS has restored my daughter's confidence in her math ability.

How does the student feel about his/her progress in ALEKS?

My daughter is extremely pleased with her progress, and is ready to move forward. She is looking forward to tackling new concepts in math and is having fun with her regular math lessons because of ALEKS.
