Overall Experience:

ALEKS helps my son and daughter to pick up and retain math concepts that they previously struggled with.

What challenges did the student face in math prior to using ALEKS?

My kids had problems with retention of math facts and performance on tests.

What were you looking for in an online math tool?

I was looking for an enjoyable tool that challenged my kids and allowed them to learn basic and complex topics. 

What math progress has the student experienced since using ALEKS?

My son has become more excited with math and is retaining concepts better. He also enjoys the challenge of ALEKS over simply getting the information from a book.

How does the student feel about his/her progress in ALEKS?

With ALEKS, my kids can see their progress and they enjoy being able to track their successes. It also builds their self-esteem in math.

Are there any best practices you would like to share with other ALEKS users?

Consistent use seems to be the key for my kids.
