Overall Experience:

I love ALEKS! The curriculum is easy to use and it appeals to my children's sense of initiative. ALEKS relieves me of grading, but still allows me to easily track their progress.

What challenges did the student face in math prior to using ALEKS?

My children had a lack of understanding, and a tendency to forget past lessons and concepts.

What were you looking for in an online math tool?

We needed something that would explain concepts in a way that my children could understand, along with the ability to review previously learned concepts. Additionally, I was looking for a curriculum that would prepare my son for taking the math portion of the SAT.

What math progress has the student experienced since using ALEKS?

I've seen my son become less dependent upon my help, he actually accomplishes more in less time each day.

How does the student feel about his/her progress in ALEKS?

My son is pleased with his progress, and faces math with a much better attitude that he can accomplish anything.
