Overall Experience:

We recently moved abroad to Uruguay, and math is taught in Spanish. Because my children are not yet fluent, I did not want them to fall behind. I am a true believer in ALEKS! My kids love it and NEVER argue about doing one hour of math per day, even after they have been to school for eight hours. One of my children has always struggled with math, and has actually said, "I love math now." I could not believe my ears! She should be caught up to grade-level by the time we return home to the United States. We are moving along quickly and we absolutely love this program. Thank you ALEKS!

What challenges did the student face in math prior to using ALEKS?

Two of my children are above grade-level and one is two years behind.

What were you looking for in an online math tool?

I needed a program that required low parental supervision, had online examples, and used artificial intelligence so my children would not be able to move on prior to skill mastery.

What math progress has the student experienced since using ALEKS?

We have seen excellent progress!

How does the student feel about his/her progress in ALEKS?

The amount of progress and the leap in confidence that I have seen in my child who is behind is a near miracle. She should be caught up soon. All of my kids love ALEKS! They are competitive, so they like to see whose pie chart is most filled in.
