Overall Experience:

We were worried that our son would not have the necessary math skills to move on to college, as we tried several math programs without success. Then we found ALEKS, which is the perfect fit for his learning style. Our son has completed both High School Geometry and Algebra 2 in just one year. He has developed far better computational skills and his confidence in math has improved dramatically. We plan to continue with ALEKS Chemistry and PreCalculus, and are likely to use Statistics and Accounting based on his success rate. Thank you ALEKS!

What challenges did the student face in math prior to using ALEKS?

Every program we tried ended in frustration, and Geometry posed a very serious problem for our son.

What were you looking for in an online math tool?

I was looking for a program that would allow my son to master math skills without frustrating him.

What math progress has the student experienced since using ALEKS?

ALEKS has increased our son's confidence in math. As a result, he is far more careful with his calculations and is not easily frustrated.

How does the student feel about his/her progress in ALEKS?

ALEKS helped our son catch up on two years' worth of math in only one year. He is now confident and looks forward to continuing his math studies.
