Description: Created in 1960, The Skillman Foundation is a Detroit, Michigan-based private grantmaking foundation that is a charitable, tax-exempt organization. The Foundation provides grants to schools improving the quality of education for youth in Detroit. Grants are primarily made in three programs: Good Schools, Good Neighborhoods, and Good Opportunities. The Good Schools program is designed to identify, support and create high-quality schools, where the majority of students graduate, attend college, and lead prosperous lives.

Eligibility: For your organization to be eligible for funding, the institution and/or project must satisfy all grantmaking guidelines and project requirements.
