Description: The 21st Century Community Learning Centers (CCLC) program aims to create community learning centers during non-school hours to provide expanded academic enrichment opportunities for students in order to help them succeed on local and state academic tests. Priority is given to children attending low-performing schools.
Eligibility: Grants are awarded to State Education Agencies (SEAs). Local education agencies (LEAs) and nonprofit organizations may apply to states for subgrants. For more information, please see the grant eligibility page.
To Apply: Organizations interested in funding should contact their CCLC State Coordinators for details about their state's subgrant competition.
