Description: The 21st Century Community Learning Centers (CCLC) program aims to create community learning centers during non-school hours to provide expanded academic enrichment opportunities for students in order to help them succeed on local and state academic tests. Priority is given to children attending low-performing schools. 

Eligibility: Grants are awarded to State Education Agencies (SEAs). Local education agencies (LEAs) and nonprofit organizations may apply to states for subgrants. For more information, please see the grant eligibility page.
