Description:
The Mildred V Horn Foundation mission is focused in the following three areas: (1) public charities that support historic home restoration (circa 1760 to 1860) that are open to the public and are located in Kentucky and its contiguous states; (2) education (primarily schools including elementary, middle and high school and colleges located in Oldham county, Kentucky and the surrounding area), and (3) homeless shelters located in Oldham county, Kentucky and the surrounding area.

Eligibility: Organizations must have a 501(c)(3) and 509 tax exempt certificate verifying qualification as a public charity and be located in Kentucky.

To Apply: The Foundation encourages grant seekers to apply for a grant online using the Online Common Grant Application at the Center for Nonprofit Excellence. Alternatively, a grant seeker may submit a one or two page letter describing the organization and its program and/or need.
