Description: The Morris & Gwendolyn Cafritz Foundation is committed to building a stronger community for residents of the Washington, DC area through support of programs in arts and humanities, community services, education, health and the environment. In the area of education, the foundation supports: adult education and GED, college access programs, early childhood education, educational services and schools, scholarship programs, and special education.

Eligibility: Grants are made in four program areas: Arts and Humanities, Community Services, Education and Health & Environment. In order to be considered for funding, organizations must serve residents in the District of Columbia, Prince George’s and Montgomery Counties in Maryland, Arlington and Fairfax Counties, and the cities of Alexandria and Falls Church in Virginia. Organizations also may complete the Eligibility Quiz to help determine their suitability for a grant from The Morris & Gwendolyn Cafritz Foundation.
