Description: The American Honda Foundation’s goal is to help meet the needs of American society in the areas of youth and scientific education by awarding grants to non-profits, while strategically assisting communities in deriving long-term benefits. Specifically, the American Honda Foundation’s main areas of interest include education in science, technology, engineering, mathematics, the environment, job training, and literacy. Organizations may only submit one request for funding within a 12-month period.

Eligibility: 501(c) (3) public charity or public school district or public/private elementary and secondary schools as listed by the U.S. Department of Education’s National Center for Education Statistics (NCES).
