Description: The Dekko Foundation responds to grant requests from community organizations that build a foundation of economic freedom in young people. The Foundation's grantmaking efforts are concentrated in the following areas: early childhood development, middle childhood development, adolescent development, and community development.
Eligibility: The foundation considers grant proposals that benefit people in communities where the founder, Mr. Chet Dekko, had an interest during his lifetime. Those communities are: Alabama - Limestone County; Florida - Collier County; Indiana - DeKalb, LaGrange, Kosciusko, Noble, Steuben, and Whitley Counties; Iowa - Clarke, Decatur, Lucas, Ringgold, and Union Counties; and Minnesota - The Community of Ada.
