Lois Langehaug, Teacher
I teach a fourth through sixth grade Math Concepts class using ALEKS. We spend 45 minutes working directly in ALEKS, and then the last 15 minutes we play a game with each other to reinforce skills we are working on in ALEKS. We even have a second grader that is now in the fourth grade course who has joined our class. We also have four special needs students and one English language learner in our class. At the end of each semester, I host an ice cream party for those students who have completed their assigned lessons and who are on track to finish their pies by end of the school year.
