Paige Hackney, Academic Program Consultant
Students are extremely motivated to see their ALEKS Pie grow. They love the freedom to work on the skills of their choice. I have seen students master the math standards at their level and proceed to the next level, which gives them more confidence and desire to continue growth. On the other side, the re-teaching and repeated practice allows slower learners and those who struggle to be successful. Our students compete with each other to see who can master the most topics. Many have enjoyed it so much that they work on ALEKS at home, after school, and on the weekends.

Learning Outcomes

Since using ALEKS, please describe the learning outcomes or progress you have seen.
I have seen students master the math standards at their level and proceed to the next level, which gives them more confidence and desire to continue growth. On the other side, the re-teaching and repeated practice allows slower learners and those who struggle to be successful. Our students have had contests with each other to see who can master the most topics. Many have enjoyed it so much that they work on ALEKS at home, after school, and on the weekends.
