ALEKS has been a useful tool in my classroom. I have only had the opportunity to use ALEKS with advanced students and would love the opportunity to use this program with struggling students as well. My high achieving students were very successful and motivated to learn using this program. They used white boards and manipulatives when needed. Because the program does not take a lot of time each day, students were able to participate in whole group instruction and access ALEKS during independent time. I have seen students excel beyond grade level expectations. Students love ALEKS and feel as though it has been a successful tool in expanding their learning! Students even mentioned getting questions correct on their Measure of Academic Progress (MAP) test due to the ALEKS program.
