I have had a good overall experience. My students seem to do well on Standardized Testing and Reporting (STAR) testing.

My students were struggling, and I needed an alternative for math.

It is 100 percent of their homework load.

The percentage of the course the student completes is used as part of the student grade, as well as how well they do on tests.
Do you require students to make regular amounts of progress in ALEKS?
Yes, the course must be completed in one year.
Since using ALEKS, please describe the learning outcomes or progress you have seen.
I have noticed good progress, and test scores have improved. In addition, students enjoy the program and are happy.
Are there any best practices you would like to share with other teachers implementing ALEKS?
It's a solid program, but students also need to be motivated.
