ALEKS has been a learn as I go process because I was introduce at the same time my students started using it.
What challenges did the class or school face in math prior to using ALEKS?
Students lacked knowledge of math basics.
How many days per week is class time dedicated to ALEKS?
5 days per week.

Students took the ALEKS assessment and work at their level and pace.
Do you cover ALEKS concepts in a particular order?
No, but I plan on doing in the future. I would like to know how to asign excise after giving students instruction.
How do you structure your class period with ALEKS?
Quick table as a warm up and 8 exercise as daily goal.
How did you modify your regular teaching approach as a result of ALEKS?
I support the students when they need help.
How often are students required or encouraged to work on ALEKS at home?
As much as they can. Usually I have a hard time getting students to work durning the class period, so most never ask.
How do you cultivate parental involvement and support for ALEKS?
Tell parents that students can use it at home or anywhere with internet excess.
Is ALEKS assigned to your students as all or part of their homework responsibilities? If so, what part of the total homework load is it?
How do you incorporate ALEKS into your grading system?
I look at how many exercise the students complete. I wish I understood the system better, so I could use more.
Do you require students to make regular amounts of progress in ALEKS?
I have students have assessments everyweek and look for a 1% growth. Most students seem to regress.
