Our students are stronger and more confident in math, and our state assessment scores are proof of the program's excellence. Students really enjoy the program and are motivated to improve. We use the courses for core content, and it has been essential in improving our state assessment scores.

How many days per week is class time dedicated to ALEKS? 5 days per week. What is the average length of a class period when ALEKS is used? 40 minutes. Implementation How do you implement ALEKS? It is used for students at risk of failing, for credit recovery, and for higher students to advance their math knowledge. Do you cover ALEKS concepts in a particular order? No. How do you structure your class period with ALEKS? Warm-up is five minutes; instruction is 20 minutes; and ALEKS is 40 minutes. How did you modify your regular teaching approach as a result of ALEKS? Practice time on ALEKS instead of paper. How often are students required or encouraged to work on ALEKS at home? Twice a week. Grading Is ALEKS assigned to your students as all or part of their homework responsibilities? If so, what part of the total homework load is it? All. How do you incorporate ALEKS into your grading system? Students' grades are based on required topics per week. Do you require students to make regular amounts of progress in ALEKS?
