I have worked with the ALEKS program for two years with my gifted and talented students. It allows our students to work beyond what is provided in the classroom. We have students go from a sixth grade enriched math class into Algebra, skipping Pre-Algebra. ALEKS has helped to provide our students with the opportunity to work at an accelerated pace.

Preparing students who are skipping a math class.

I don't incorporate ALEKS into my grading system.

No, we use it as a self-paced program.
Since using ALEKS, please describe the learning outcomes or progress you have seen.
Our students are able to progress beyond our class and learn skills essential to Algebra. Our students enjoy working with the pie and seeing their progress.
