I have used ALEKS as a supplement to our existing curriculum. This is the second year we have used it with the seventh and eighth graders. ALEKS is effective depending on the individual student. Some students take right off, while others I fight to keep on task with it as they get bored.

As it is a lab project, we do not grade ALEKS usage.

We use ALEKS for quiz grades.

In general, we require students to make regular progress.

Some students are excited, while many are just working on their assessment.
