ALEKS is user-friendly and motivating. After implementing ALEKS, I see noted student improvement; my students are motivated and feel good about being able to monitor their progress.

How do you implement ALEKS?
We effectively implement ALEKS in our after-school program.

Do you cover ALEKS concepts in a particular order?
I do not cover ALEKS topics in a particular order as we focus on each student's weakest areas.

How do you structure your class period with ALEKS?
Our after-school courses run 90 minutes in length, and focus exclusively on ALEKS.

How often are students required or encouraged to work on ALEKS at home?
I encourage my students to work on ALEKS at home as much as they possibly can.

How do you cultivate parental involvement and support for ALEKS?
I make phone calls to parents to further encourage ALEKS use at home.


Is ALEKS assigned to your students as all or part of their homework responsibilities? If so, what part of the total homework load is it?
ALEKS is not assigned to my students specifically as homework.

How do you incorporate ALEKS into your grading system?
Because we implement ALEKS in an after-school program, we do not incorporate it into our grading system.

Do you require students to make regular amounts of progress in ALEKS?
I do not require students to make specific amounts of progress.
