ALEKS Wins Codie Award For Best Post Secondary Education Instructional Solution

SANTA ANA, Calif. -- May 27, 2004 -- ALEKS Corporation today announced that it received the 2004 Codie Award for Best Post Secondary Education Instructional Solution from the Software and Information Industry Association. The SIIA Codie Awards showcase the software industry's finest products and services.

ALEKS (Assessment and LEarning in Knowledge Spaces) is a Web-based learning assistant that provides students with individualized and highly targeted instruction in a variety of subjects. By assessing a student's current knowledge in a subject, ALEKS is able to deliver only the topics that the student is ready to learn.

ALEKS is available for several postsecondary subjects, such as basic math, algebra, precalculus, business math, business statistics, and accounting.
