Description: The S.D. Bechtel Foundation supports select nonprofit organizations and initiatives that address critical opportunities, including STEM Education. The organization offers STEM Education grants under two categories: (1) Early Engagement: increase opportunities for students in grades K-8 to experience engaging STEM learning, both in-school and out-of-school; (2) STEM Pipeline: support students in their progression through grades 7-16 and into STEM careers. Interested organizations are encouraged to submit a two-page letter of inquiry. After submitting a letter of inventory, organizations will need to submit a full grant proposal upon invitation. The Foundation’s main geographic focus is California’s San Francisco Bay Area.
Eligibility: Your organization must be either a 501 (c) (3) Organization or a 509 (a) (3) supporting organization.
