Chief Product Officer
Lori Anderson was named ALEKS Chief Product Officer in July 2022. She is responsible for all aspects of ALEKS product development, including strategy, innovation, design, and the delivery of world class products. As a McGraw Hill Digital Platform Group senior leader, Ms. Anderson leads the organizational development and operations of ALEKS, and nurtures the ALEKS mission to dramatically improve student learning outcomes through engaging and efficacious digital learning.
Since 2006, Ms. Anderson has helped to evolve the ALEKS product through various roles, most recently as Vice President, ALEKS Product and Program where she worked with McGraw Hill product management, ALEKS leadership, and development teams to establish and refine the ongoing product development strategy for ALEKS and other key McGraw Hill products. Through 2016, Ms. Anderson was Senior Director of ALEKS Technical Product Management and User Experience where she established user-centered design and customer research best practices. Through 2013, she was Director of Marketing and responsible for a wide range of ALEKS marketing activities.
Before joining ALEKS, Ms. Anderson worked as a marketing professional in various industries and taught mathematics to elementary students in New Orleans as part of Teach for America.
Ms. Anderson holds a MBA degree from the University of California, Irvine, and a BA degree in Communications from the University of California, Los Angeles.
