Director, User Experience Research
As the Director of User Experience Research, Vanessa oversees user research activities for ALEKS and other products in the McGraw Hill portfolio. Vanessa leads a team of UX researchers who surface the voice of our customers to development teams through creative and pragmatic user research initiatives. Vanessa’s team takes pride in delivering meaningful user insights to influence product development. Vanessa works collaboratively with product leaders, McGraw Hill user research teams, and stakeholders to shape overall product strategy.
Vanessa has been with McGraw Hill for over 10 years and enjoys being an advocate for the needs of instructors and students. She is grateful for the opportunity to impact the development of educational products that will accelerate student learning.
Vanessa has a MS in Management, Strategy and Leadership from Michigan State University and a BA in Psychology from Chapman University.
